Days after posting a in which he claimed to be penniless and living in a Holiday Inn, TMZ is reporting that singer has been placed on psychiatric hold.
TMZ cites a Madison County Florida Sheriff’s Department report that says, “deputies found Scott on the side of a road Nov. 13 and he appeared wasted, incoherent and rambling that someone was trying to poison him. Cops placed him on a 72-hour psych hold.”
Cops said that he had drug-fueled paranoid delusions and he’s worried that his kid will get attacked by ISIS, according to TMZ.
On Wednesday, Stapp where he confessed that he was broke and homeless and claimed that he was being audited by the IRS and someone stole all his money.
“Right now I’m living in a Holiday Inn because of the grace of God, because there’s been a couple weeks where I’ve had to sleep in my truck,” Stapp said in the video, which has since been deleted. “I had no money not even for gas or food. I went two days without eating because I had no money.”
Stapp’s wife, Jaclyn Stapp, recently filed for divorce from her spouse of 13 years claiming the Creed singer was, “doing so much amphetamines, crystal meth and steroids that he has become a paranoid shell who has threatened to kill himself and harm his family.”
