The Colorado State Rams volleyball team, 29-2 and ninth-ranked nationally, will play host to a four-team NCAA sub-regional next weekend — and the other three teams also will be from Colorado.

The tournament selection show on ESPNU Sunday night revealed that the sub-regional will be in Moby Arena, and the Friday matches will be:

— Colorado (19-13) vs. Northern Colorado (22-10), 4:30 p.m.

— CSU vs. Denver (27-6), 6:30 p.m.

The winners meet Saturday at 4:30 p.m. for the right to advance to the national tournament’s Sweet 16 and a four-team regional in Minneapolis.

UNC won the Big Sky Conference postseason tournament, DU took the Summit League tournament, and CU was 11-9 in Pac-12 Conference play and tied for fourth place.

CSU beat both UNC and DU in straight sets during the regular season.
