The Avalanche had an , with Semyon Varlamov taking shots from injured forwards Jesse Winchester (head), Dennis Everberg (shoulder) and Ben Street (hand) and healthy Tomas Vincour. Varlamov will remain on the IR until Tuesday or Wednesday, and is the tentative scheduled starter Thursday at Calgary. Rookie Calvin Pickard will make his third consecutive start Monday against the visiting Montreal Canadiens. So no goaltending moves for now.
