Forget Cyber Monday. It’s Marijuana Monday (today and every day) here at The Cannabist, and we’re celebrating with the first of many gift guides to get the cannabis enthusiast in your life geared up in ganja style this holiday season.

While Colorado’s marijuana industry that had shoppers lined up overnight, mainstream retailers have yet to fully embrace this new culture of cannabis. Companies like and have incorporated the pot leaf into select designs since 2009 and 2007, respectively, setting the precedent for big brands to follow suit. Here are a few of our favorite finds in name-brand-land — all available online so you can smoke while you shop for weed gifts.

Announced this summer and just now available for sale, Swedish sock superstars Happy Socks collaborated with Snoop Dogg for “The Art of Inspiration” line based on his love of painting. Who knew? “Gin & Juice,” “Stripes & Plants” and “Painter” are sold separately for $12 a pair, but we love the box set featuring all three designs covered in blue paisley bandana print that pays homage to Snoop’s OG days.

With a 30-ounce capacity, this hand crafted porcelain piece is the Cadillac of weed jars. Part of Jonathan Adler’s Vice Collection (i.e. Quaaludes, Viagra, Uppers, Downers), it can double as a kitschy kitchen container for when the munchies set in.

The Kit (Provided by Burton)

The Kit, $24.95


The snowboarding giant launched this crush-proof as the intended to make on-mountain pot smoking easier. It soon dropped the number moniker but continued to cause quite the due to its vague description and perfect design to fit a lighter, pipe and stash. Burton is still selling it and snowboarders (and skiers) still love it. (And BTW, it’s still illegal in Colorado to possess marijuana on federal lands, where most state ski areas operate.) Too bad most of have disappeared. .
