The Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network, an organization get to the next level, added Zayo Group CEO Dan Caruso as its steering committee chairman for 2015.
Caruso, who co-founded Boulder-based Zayo in 2007, led the company .
“The Front Range is home to so many innovative startup companies, and we must continue to foster collaboration and growth to keep them in Colorado,” Caruso said.
Blackstone also announced the first three Blackstone entrepreneurs selected to work with small businesses: George Heinrichs, co-founder of public-safety communication service Intrado, which grew to be one of Colorado’s largest software companies, with 1,100 employees; Mark Hopkins, founder of Peak Industries, a contract manufacturer of medical systems; and Tom Moore, who founded WildBlue in the 1990s and works for ViaSat Inc.
