Write anything memorable this year?
The Colorado Authors’ League is accepting submissions for its annual writing contest, with 13 categories for 2015 — including E-books.
To be eligible, contestants must be CAL members and have published their work either traditionally or independently in 2014. Deadline is Jan. 31.
Along with a $100 award and a trophy, all winners and finalists will be asked to participate in a CAL signing and reading event at one of Denver’s stores.
Winners will be announced at a May 8 awards banquet. drew more than 140 guests, including , who won the lifetime achievement award.
Cost for each entry is $50. Categories include fiction E-books, non-fiction E-books, mainstream fiction, genre fiction, young adult, children’s, short fiction, general nonfiction, creative nonfiction, feature articles, essays, poetry and blogs.
Writers can join the Colorado Authors’ League by visiting , filling out the form and either using PayPal or a mailed check for the fee.
