NOV 12 1984: Just for special snow days United Airlines now has signs and lines to handle passengers with cancelled flights. They had four lines going and about six agents handling the frustrated travelers. (The Denver Post file)
Thanks to Vickie Makings, who has insisted that I need not thank her in these posts, we have this excellent photograph of people from 1984 waiting to get some holiday travel started, also sometime in 1984, one hopes.
I’d like to think that the guy at the far left went on to start a band with the guy making the face, but… it probably didn’t happen.
