One person was treated for smoke inhalation early Saturday after a light fixture fell and ignited a fire at a Denver marijuana growing business, authorities say.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to Denver Health Medical Center for treatment, said Capt. Greg Pixley, spokesman for the Denver Fire Department.

Firefighters were called to the business on the 800 block of Navajo Street at 7:40 a.m., Pixley said. The fire was completely out within two or three minutes, he said.

The fire caused minor damage in one room including the consumption of a few marijuana plants, Pixley said.
