A Fort Carson soldier in May will face a preliminary evidence hearing on Monday morning.
Spc. Jeffery T. Page will appear in military court at the post. Page’s Article 32 hearing was initially scheduled for last month .
Page, 23, of Peerysburg, Ohio, is accused in the death of Spc. Adrian M. Perkins, 19, of Pine Valley, Calif.
Military documents say Page shot Perkins with an M4 rifle at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Al-Azraq, Jordan, on May 15. Perkins died at a hospital in Amman, Jordan.
Page is charged with murder, manslaughter, negligent homicide and failure to obey an order or regulation.
The military has not said why Page allegedly killed Perkins.
Both soldiers were members of the 2nd armored Brigade Combat Team.
The hearing is set for 9 a.m.
