We can unofficially say Drake is having the worst week ever. Over the weekend, the OVO star was accused by Chris Brown of “going on dates” with Brown’s ex-girlfriend Karruche Tran. If that wasn’t bad enough, Drake found himself on the wrong side of a punch from Bad Boy Records mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. TMZ is reporting the two squared off inside of Club Liv and Drake was stunned by a punch that seemingly came out of nowhere.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Drake get into a scuffle in a club (just a few months ago he brawled with Chris Brown reportedly over Rihanna). This fight wasn’t about his woes with women but reportedly the music rights to a song that is causing tension with Diddy.
The incident took place as stars celebrated DJ Khaled’s birthday in Miami and reportedly started over a comment Drake said to Diddy’s girlfriend, singer Cassie. The New York Post reports they can confirm the fight was over music, though, not Cassie.
At 4:52 a.m. on Monday, DJ Sam Sneaker tweeted that Drake ended up in the hospital after the fight. This report is still unconfirmed, but Sneaker also tweeted that the hospitalization was for a dislocated shoulder.
