Denver police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred Tuesday evening.
Officials say a female pedestrian was struck and seriously injured at 33rd Avenue and Milwaukee Street by a gray or silver Ford F-150 truck with a stripe on the side.
The victim was transported to an area hospital. Police said a Medina Alert has been issued for the vehicle.
