Gabe Kennedy, Boulder chef on “The Taste”
Boulder chef Gabe Kennedy has an exciting episode on ABC’s “The Taste” Thursday (airing locally at 7 p.m. on Channel 7), according to those in the know. No spoilers, but “exciting” usually means “winning.”
Raised “green” in Boulder, Kennedy was trained, and graduated first in his class, at The Culinary Institute of America and later graduated from the Hotel School at Cornell University. Most recently, he has been living in Brooklyn, consulting for a variety of restaurants, acting as a private chef for Manhattan taste makers and professional athletes. He’s all about sustainability and is helping launch a variety of organic food and lifestyle brands.
