Flags at public buildings across Colorado will be at half-staff Thursday through Sunday in honor of a , according to a state news release.
Gov. John Hickenlooper made the order to honor U.S. Air Force Capt. William DuBois of New Castle, who died “of injuries sustained when his F-16 Fighting Falcon crashed while returning to its base,” the release said. DuBois was assigned to Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina with the 77th Fighter Squadron.
A memorial service for DuBois will be held Dec. 14 in Rifle.
