1 Suspect waving a knife around. A man called Denver police on Nov. 27 after he was accosted by a suspect near the intersection of South Federal Boulevard and West Bates Avenue. The victim told police a man approached and began arguing with him and following him. The suspect then pulled out a pocket knife and waved it over his head, shouting about money he was owed by the victim.
2 Daughter doesn’t want to help clean, makes bigger mess. A woman called Denver police on Nov. 29 after her daughter threw a rock through her window in the 2400 block of Clarkson Street. The woman told police that she told her daughter to leave the house because she never helped clean up.
3 Man unhappy about a tow. A man was arrested Nov. 30 after he was identified as the person who threw a rock at a tow truck earlier in the morning. Denver police responded to Mile High Towing, 3635 Brighton Blvd., where a worker identified the suspect.
4 Bud Light almost stolen from store. On Nov. 29, Denver police responded to an attempted robbery near West 38th Avenue and Clay Street. The victim told police that two suspects came in and tried to steal a 20-pack of Bud Light. The victim asked for ID and told the men to leave, but was attacked.
5 Officer contacts men fighting. On Nov. 29, a Denver police officer noticed two men in a fighting stance near the intersection of York Street and East Bruce Randolph Avenue. Once the officer stopped, the two men began to fight. The officer separated the men and one began to walk away. The officer contacted the other man.
