1 Bike left behind. On Dec. 3, a Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy talked to a man who had left his bike and bag on a light rail train at Lincoln Light Rail Station, 10203 Station Way, when he stepped off the train for a moment and it left without him. His property was stolen.
2 Trash can stolen. On Dec. 3, a deputy was dispatched to the 3800 block of Mallard Street in Highlands Ranch where someone stole a man’s trash can, as well as some eggs and milk from his Royal Crest box.
3 Vehicle damage. On Nov. 30, a deputy responded to the 9700 block of Pyramid Court in unincorporated Douglas County where someone had broken the driver’s and passenger’s side windows into pieces and apparently shot a shotgun into the back of a woman’s car while she was at her boyfriend’s place.
4 Thief steals bedding. On Nov. 30, a man reported to the sheriff’s office that someone stole two king-size pillows and two comforter sets from his vehicle parked in the 9600 block of Timber Hawk Circle in Highlands Ranch.
5 Property egged. On Nov. 30, a deputy was dispatched to the 9100 block of Sugarstone Circlein Highlands Ranch where two men had egged a man’s house and vehicle. He captured them on video, but it was only in infrared so the deputy couldn’t use it.
6 Broken window. On Dec. 1, a deputy was dispatched to Source HOV,369 Inverness Parkway, where someone had used a small object to break the outside office window. It was unknown what was used to break the window, but there was a small hole in the glass.
