1. The terrible 20s. In the 7500 block of Settlers Drive, Morrison, on Nov. 27, residents reported that their 27-year-old daughter got “out of control” and threw things because they would not pay her bills. They asked police to stand by while she packed her things to move out.

2. Shoe thief runs amok. On Nov. 29, residents of the 200 block of South Rainbow Trail, Evergreen, told Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies that while a neighbor is at work, her dog runs loose and steals shoes from neighborhood garages. They reported that while seeking a missing shoe, they went to the neighbor and suggested the dog be fenced or tied up. The neighbor threatened to run over their children. She was advised by police to restrain her dog.

3Rebuffed at the Buff. On Nov. 22, Golden police went to the Buffalo Rose, 1119 Washington Ave., where a man and two female friends were accusing the bartenders of stealing his missing credit card and driver’s license. Police asked the patron to check his wallet, where he found the missing cards. They were asked to leave and one woman was restrained by police when she reached for her drink. All three patrons were banned from the bar for a year.

4Gamer drama. A resident of the 200 block of Lookout View Court, Golden, called police Nov. 24 to report harassing texts from his co-worker’s wife, one of which read, “he is my husband not yours.” The wife said she was angry her husband stayed at the co-worker’s house to play video games and allowed their 2-year-old to watch his gaming. She agreed to stop the messages.
