U.S. Sen.-elect Cory Gardner today announced he has hired three more senior staffers.

Chuck Poplstein, the former director of the Colorado Republican Party who currently is the district director for Gardner’s congressional district, will serve as state director. Curtis Swager will serve as Gardner’s legislative director. Swager has worked for Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., since 2008, most recently as his deputy legislative director. Amy Barrera will serve as Gardner’s director of scheduling. She most recently served as the director of scheduling for former Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va.

Gardner, , in November, : Chris Hansen as chief of staff, Natalie Farr as deputy chief of staff and Alex Siciliano as his spokesman.
