The state health insurance exchange announced Thursday it has enrolled 24,811 individuals for coverage since the second open enrollment period began Nov. 15 under the Affordable Care Act.
Of those enrollees, about one-third are new customers and the rest are renewals. Financial assistance for premiums was received by 13,994 Coloradans.
Connect for Health Colorado reported Dec. 2 that 9,719 Coloradans had enrolled in private insurance plans through the exchange
This enrollment period ends Feb. 15, but to obtain coverage by Jan. 1, the application process must be started by Dec. 15.
The exchange also reported that 3,642 Coloradans have enrolled in dental insurance through the marketplace.
