BOULDER — The Boulder County commissioners adopted a $438.8 million spending package Thursday to fund county programs, services and projects in 2015.
That’s up from this year’s $366.8 million budget that the commissioners originally approved for 2014.
But 11 months of changes in the current-year county government budget, revisions made since its initial adoption in December 2013, have increased this year’s authorized spending to about $422.5 million.
Boulder County officials have cited flood-recovery expenses as being a major factor in the spending that’s been added to the 2014 budget and what’s expected to occur in 2015.
