Police in Wheat Ridge say they have recovered a vehicle connected with a man being sought in connection with .
Gregory Junior Kilcollins, 29, is wanted in connection with the shooting that left a man injured. Kilcollins’ gray Hyundai sedan, which police say was involved in the shooting, was recovered by investigators.
Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots at the Villa Victoria apartment complex near West 38th Avenue and Quail Court about 5 a.m.
When officers arrived, police found a man suffering from a single gunshot wound and rushed him to a hospital.
Police said they believe Kilcollins and the victim knew one another.
Officials said they feel confident they know how to find and apprehend Kilcollins, who court records show is wanted on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault with a deadly weapon.
The shooting victim has not been identified, and police did not provide an update on his condition.
