Police in Denver are investigating a fatal, two-vehicle crash on Saturday morning that also left two people seriously injured.
The crash happened in a neighborhood about 6 a.m. at the intersection of West Harvard Avenue and South Hazel Court.
“I heard two cars speeding, then heard the (a tire screeching sound) and a loud bang,” Carl Lopez, who lives nearby, .
Lopez, who told the station he gave CPR to one of the victims, ran outside and heard a woman say “Help me!”
The two people seriously injured in the crash were taken to a hospital. Police say the intersection has been closed.
Authorities did not immediately release details of the crash.
