Capcom announced the return of Charlie Nash in Street Fight V at the Capcom Cup, .

Coming on the heels of Capcom’s announcement to bring the next installment of the legendary fighting game exclusively to the PS4 and PC, Capcom showed a trailer at the 2014 Capcom Cup. The tourney features 16 of the world’s best Ultra Street Fighter IV players and doubled as a showcase for the return of Nash, the popular character who’s a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force — and who has been presumed dead since 1995’s Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors Dreams.

Nash’s appearance was featured as add-on to an existing Street Fighter V gameplay trailer showing a brawl between series mainstays Ryu and Chun Li. Viewers can see a blonde-haired man pick up a pair of glasses off the floor and place them over his eyes.

Street Fighter V was announced Dec. 6 and will feature cross-platform play, allowing PC gamers to battle it out with PlayStation 4 users. The cross-platform multiplayer unites players into a single player base for the first time, a press release from Capcom said.

Xbox owners are bound to feel a little left out after being included in the Street Fighter IV games and versions of the previous three titles. Gamespotap that Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft Studios and Microsoftap Xbox division, said the decision to exclude the Xbox One came to down a matter of business.

“Business deals happen,” Spencer said on Twitter. “We won’t do all of them. When we have a first party franchise in a genre, I’d rather invest in ours.”

“Ours” is a reference Killer Instinct, another iconic fighting game that’s a sequel to a pair of titles released in the ’90s. Killer Instinct is an Xbox One exclusive.

Game On will have more details on Street Fighter V as they develop.
