Police in Denver are investigating a two-car crash on Thursday morning that left a juvenile with non-life threatening, serious injuries.

The crash happened about 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of Mitchell Circle and Mitchell Place in Green Valley Ranch.

Initially, Denver police said they were searching for a black Honda Civic in connection with the crash, which they first called a hit-and-run involving three vehicles. Denver police have since learned there was no such car involved in the crash.
