A person was shot in Westminster Monday night and police have two suspects in custody, with another possible suspect on the loose.
Cheri Spottke, an investigator with the Westminster Police Department, said the shooting occurred outside in the 10900 block of Gray Circle about 6:40 p.m.
The victim, who was taken to a hospital, is expected to survive. Spottke did not know the victim’s age or gender.
Police arrested two of the suspects after a short vehicle chase, Spottke said. But witnesses said a third person was in the car and got away.
Westminster police tweeted late Monday that the victim and the suspect-at-large may be acquaintances.
