Prior to Sunday’s Pac-12 women’s basketball game between Colorado and UCLA in Boulder, CU will celebrate the annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day with events for children in the Coors Events Center.

Activities, which are free, begin at noon with a variety of skills and fitness stations for girls 8th grade and under and boys 6th grade and under.

The skills and fitness stations will be run by members of the CU women’s basketball program.

An autograph session with Colorado players begins at 1 p.m.

Tipoff of the CU vs. UCLA game is at 2 p.m. Tickets to the game are free (with accompanying ticket-purchasing adults) for kids that participate in the skills stations.

National Girls and Women in Sports Day began in 1986.
