1 Man arrested for multiple drug stashes. A patron of Wendy’s at 6290 Sheridan Blvd. in Arvada called police Dec. 21 to report an intoxicated man had passed out next to a fence on the property. The near comatose man told police he was waiting for his brother. A pat-down unearthed heroin, syringes, cans of beer, two types of prescription pills and methadone. He was arrested and transported to a hospital.

2 Frying pan used in domestic assault. A man upset that his girlfriend was leaving began an argument Dec. 21 in the 8600 block of West 56th Avenue, Arvada. They wrestled over the frying pan; she allegedly burned his neck and he punched her in the nose. The boyfriend was arrested for assault and violation of a protection order.

3 Assault at King Soopers. An argument between two men Dec. 24 at King Soopers, 6350 Sheridan Blvd., Arvada, ended when one punched the other one, knocking him out. The victim suffered a concussion and serious injuries from hitting his head on the pavement. The suspect was not identified.

4 Wrong I.D., meth found on man. Police contacted a group of four people Dec. 22 who were arguing and appeared to be intoxicated at the Home Depot, 5215 Wadsworth Blvd. in Arvada. After volunteering to be searched, baggies of meth were found on one suspect along with someone else’s identification. He gave police a false name and was arrested.

5 Truck thief ruins morning. A man reported his white Ford F-250 work truck with a $3,000 attached snow plow stolen Dec. 22 in the 5200 block of Ward Road, Arvada.
