has revealed some big news today. The band has announced that its first album in four years, “The Waterfall,” is due out on May 4 on ATO Records. This announcement comes off the album, “Big Decisions.”

Along with the news of My Morning Jacket’s seventh album, the band has revealed dates for its 2015 tour. The run includes stops at major music festivals this summer and an appearance at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Aug. 14 before heading overseas.

Tickets for the Colorado show go on sale on March 13. We’ll update this post with the ticket price as soon as it’s available.

The Red Rocks date marks the first time in two years that My Morning Jacket has played a Colorado show. In 2013, with Wilco.
