NEW YORK — Bill de Blasio is sparking a trip down memory lane.
The New York City mayor’s Twitter account posted a photo for “Throwback Thursday” of a shaggy, bearded de Blasio from his days as a student at New York University in the 1970s.
The posting comes a day after a reporter asked him if he or his wife smoke marijuana at Gracie Mansion, the mayoral residence.
De Blasio said no.
He then said the last time he used marijuana was while he was a student at NYU.
The posting was a clear attempt to poke fun at .
De Blasio eased the city’s police departmentap . But he does not favor legalization of the drug.
