• Because of an editor’s error, the “Geo Quiz” question in the Sunday Travel section had the wrong answer. The correct answer to Question No. 1, about the port city of Arkhangelsk, is Russia.
• Because of a reporter’s error, a story in Monday’s editions about the appointment of attorney Doug Friednash as the new chief of staff for Gov. John Hickenlooper had an incorrect start date. Friednash will begin Feb. 2.
• The hometown of Rep. Diane Mitsch Bush, D-Steamboat Springs, was incorrectly identified Sunday in a column on Page 4D.
CLARIFICATION: In a headline on Page 17A Sunday, the word “invasion” was used inaccurately with a story about President Mahmoud Abbas’ characterization of Israel’s role in the West Bank and the possible establishment of a Palestinian state.
