BOULDER — In the midst of a citywide debate over what constitutes intelligent growth and development, Boulder’s City Council on Tuesday night will consider halting for the next two years the consideration of tall — by Boulder standards, at least — new buildings in most parts of the city.
At a study session last week, the council agreed to discuss such limits at its annual retreat this coming Friday and Saturday, at which it will establish its priorities for 2015. Instead, the height-limit issue will have its day in court sooner than expected.
