1 Clueless collision. Someone drove a car through a man’s shed in the 2300 block of West 92nd Avenue, Federal Heights. An unknown suspect fled the scene with apparently no witnesses. The victim saw the car in his shed when he returned from running an errand Dec. 27.
2 Cart alarm. Two boys escaped store security at the King Soopers at 1475 W. 84th Ave., Federal Heights, after a cart full of stolen food locked up when the suspects tried to push it out of the front doors Dec. 27. The suspects dragged the cart to a small car and dumped the items in the car before leaving.
3 Special delivery. Police cited a man for theft after they got his home address from employees of the Sears at 16395 Washington St., Thornton. The suspect stole a wallet that was left on the customer service counter Dec. 19. Police found the man’s address because the man’s wife returned a pair of shoes.
4 Banned for life. A man who lives in the 300 block of Laredo Way, Lochbuie, was arrested at a nightclub in Commerce City on Dec. 26 because he grabbed a waitress and told her that his belt was worth more than her paycheck. He’s never allowed to come back.
5 Charging at police. Police dispatch sent officers to a home in the 12700 block of Bellaire St., Thornton, for a hang-up call Dec. 21. Two men were fighting when police arrived. One drunken man was arrested for running at the officers.
6 Lock pick. A woman who lives in the 1400 block of West 85th Avenue, Federal Heights, called police Dec. 28 because someone tried to pry open her front door while she was out. Nothing was stolen.
