The touring production “Dancing Pros: Live” is not to be confused with ABC’s popular “Dancing with the Stars” competition — although the producers of the former probably wouldn’t mind that. The “Pros” show, which visits the Buell Theatre Jan. 23-24, features “Stars” winner Karina Smirnoff as its head judge, “Stars” dancers Edyta Sliwinska and Chelsie Hightower on its roster, and is hosted by Alan Thicke (“Growing Pains”) — who could easily give “Stars” host Alan Bergeron a run for his hosting money.
