After a two-year hiatus from live performances, Fort Collins dream-pop act has announced it will return with a new project, , in collaboration with members of .
The band has also announced that it will debut the project at the Oriental Theater on March 7.

Candy Claws returns with their new project Sound of Ceres, and perform their first live show in 2 years at The Oriental Theater. In collaboration with Robert Schneider, Ben Phelan, and John Ferguson of the Apples in Stereo, Big Fresh, and Elephant 6, Karen and Ryan of Candy Claws continue their exploration of dreamy nature discovered. Their set list will not only include tracks from the new project, but also never before played songs from Ceres & Calypso In the Deep Time. Former Denver act, Apples in Stereo, is one of the premier acts associated with the Elephant Six Collective, which also included Neutral Milk Hotel and Olivia Tremor Control. Apples in Stereo frontman Robert Peter Schneider also worked to produce Neutral Milk Hotel’s seminal album, “In the Aeroplane over the Sea.”
