Officers from four districts set up a perimeter in west Denver after a police chase through Edgewater overnight, but the suspects remain on the loose.
Cpl. Nathan Geerdes with the Edgewater Police Department said he was on routine patrol just after midnight, when he noticed two people in a car with a light out on South Sheridan Boulevard.
Geerdes turned on his patrol car’s lights and sirens to pull over the Subaru Impreza WRX, but said the driver didn’t stop.
Geerdes said he chased the Subaru down Sheridan to about West Cedar Avenue and then called off the pursuit due to the high speeds.
