When is Bus Rapid Transit not truly rapid? According to the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy, when it shares an express lane with other vehicles, such as will occur with the Denver-Boulder line. The mayor of Boulder stated, “[H]elp us come up with another name.” My suggestion is to call it BART: Bus Almost Rapid Transit.
