1 Bleach tantrum. A man was angry that his daughter wanted rent money from him Jan. 13, so he took all of her clothes and all of her husband’s clothes, put them in the bathtub and dumped bleach all over them. The suspect was supposed to be moving out of the house in the 7000 block of Highway 2, Commerce City, at the end of the month. He was cited.

2 Marijuana delivery. A United Parcel Service employee was fired from the UPS at 5020 Ivy St., Commere City, because his boss caught him trying to mail 23 grams of weed to his friend in Illinois on Jan. 14. The officer smelled the marijuana in the package and arrested the suspect.

3 No spitting or soliciting. Residents of a home in the 13200 block of Pearl Circle, Thornton, called police because a door-to-door salesman spit on their door because they did not want to buy anything from him Jan. 10. The homeowners had security cameras that showed the incident. Police found the salesman and arrested him.

4 Seafood robbery. Two men went into the Safeway at 10300 N. Federal Blvd., Federal Heights, and ordered a cart full of expensive meats and seafood. They were leaving the store without paying Jan. 5, so an employee tried to stop them. One of the men brandished a gun, so she stepped away.

5 Tractors aren’t toys. The owner of Brannan Construction at 8600 Zuni St., Federal Heights, called police Jan. 9 because someone broke onto the grounds and damaged three of his tractors by trying to joyride.

6 Jaywalking. A man was ticketed for running across the 10400 block of Colorado Boulevard, Thornton, Jan. 10.
