1 Pawn dispute. A woman was angry with an employee of EZ Pawn, 15139 E. Colfax Ave., because she didn’t pay her as much for an item as she wanted. On the way out of the store Jan. 8, the customer slammed a cart into the front door and broke the glass. She was ticketed.

2 Leaving town. A police officer saw a man drive up to a Dumpster in the 10700 block of East Exposition Avenue and dump old furniture inside Jan. 12. The suspect told the officer he was moving to Missouri the next day and needed to clean out his house. He was given a summons for illegal dumping.

3 Return to the scene. Police arrested a man for stealing a snow blower outside the Lowes at 4455 S. Buckley Road. The suspect had already escaped the store, but he came back and was driving around the parking lot during the investigation with the snow blower. He was arrested Jan. 3.

4 Door busting. Someone went to a woman’s home in the 12500 block of East Exposition Drive and banged on her door so hard that it cracked Jan. 10. The woman’s son went to reinforce the door and told the suspect that he had weapons. The suspect took off after that.

5 While you were away. A man’s son went to check on his home in the 24300 block of East Kansas Circle while he was at the hospital Jan. 8. He realized that someone smashed a basement window and stole several antique watches.

6 Access denied. Someone tried to break into a man’s home in the 500 block of South Kalispell Street Jan. 11. The rear sliding glass door was broken and can’t be opened, so the intruder smashed a light and took off.
