Three people were arrested Wednesday night and Denver police were conducting a search in the Montbello neighborhood for at least one other suspect after an incident in which shots were fired.
A police spokeswoman said officers were on the scene of the 4300 block of Durham Court at about 10:15 p.m. and reported that shots had been fired.
When they tried to make contact with the occupants of a vehicle, the car fled the scene. After a short chase, the passengers abandoned the car after it crashed into the wall of a residence in the area of Andrews Drive and Titan Court.
Three suspects were arrested and officers, including SWAT and K-9 units, set up a perimeter in the area to search for an unspecified number of other suspects.
