1 Couple fights in Sears parking lot. On Jan. 14, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a fight between a man and woman in the parking lot at Sears, 8501 W. Bowles Ave. in the Littleton area. Deputies learned the dispute arose over a Facebook post. A friend stepped between the couple and separated them.
2 Youth reported throwing eggs at cars. Multiple parties called deputies on Jan. 15 after they observed a juvenile throwing eggs at cars in the area of South Valley Road and Valley Parkway, Ken-Caryl
. One woman said her car was hit on the windshield and her husband could not see to drive. They stopped and yelled that they would call police and saw the youth flee. A deputy could not find the youth.
3 Mother locks out daughter. A woman called deputies on Jan. 16 after she got into an argument with her daughter and locked her out of the house in the 4300 block of South Independence Street in the Littleton area. The woman said her daughter maintains residency at her home, but rarely stays there. While there, the daughter began cursing at the mother when asked about taking $1 from her sister’s room.
4 Woman reports harassing texts. On Jan. 16, a woman called deputies after she received a harassing text from a male friend. The deputy spoke with the woman in the 4900 block of South Routt Street in the Littleton area, who said the friend called her names in the text. When the officer asked why he might have done that, she said she had called him something as well. The officer determined no crime was committed.
