Friday. Swallow Hill Music should feel wholly justified in having great expectations for the Denver version of The Moth storytelling series. Its “StorySlam”live events, which certainly benefit from The Moth’s popular podcast, have sold out their last three shows in a row, and the Jan. 30 installment (theme: “Blunders”) is poised to do the same. Would-be storytellers can submit their names beginning at 6:30 p.m. the night of the event, after which narrators are picked and stories are told — with winners moving onto the GrandSlam championships.
