FARGO, N.D. — Nate Engesser scored 15 points and had three assists, but it was not enough as the University of Denver fell to North Dakota State 61-54 in overtime Thursday night.

The Pioneers (9-12, 3-5 Summit League) could not hold a 10-point halftime lead as the Bison (14-7, 6-2) extended their home winning streak to 21.

Lawrence Alexander and Paul Miller combined to go 7-of-12 from 3-point range and hit six 3-pointers in the second half and overtime.

After DU tied the game at 49-all in overtime, Miller hit a 3-pointer and the Bison never trailed again.

AUSTIN, Texas — Ariel Atkins scored 21 points and combined with Empress Davenport for 15 points in the two overtime sessions as No. 14 Texas defeated No. 24 Oklahoma 84-81 in double overtime.
