Juan Ramirez, a 21-year-old left-sided attacking midfielder with Argentinos Juniors, has been linked with Colorado Rapids in recent reports by two Argentinian sports journalists.

Initially, Buenos Aires-based journalist Emmanuel Quispe reported on Twitter on Jan. 10 that the Rapids were interested in bringing in Ramirez on loan.




However, in a Tweet Friday, Buenos Aires-based journalist Roxana Frysztyk reported on Twitter that a full sale of Ramirez to the Rapids was imminent.




Rapids President Tim Hinchey declined to comment Saturday on the reports.
