Are high school sports necessary? Absolutely. I know recruiting-wise it’s pretty big to play summer ball, but there’s more pride when you go to a high school game than to an AAU game. It kind of separates the good players from the OK players, but you can definitely tell who’s “the man” on the court in high school.
