The wait ended for Chuk Obinnah on Sunday.
Grandview’s senior running back announced on Twitter that he will sign with Colorado State on Wednesday.
A chiseled 6-foot-1, 218 pounds, Obinnah scored 20 touchdowns and had nearly 1,600 yards rushing in 2014, when the Class 5A Wolves won their first 12 games, then lost to Valor Christian in the state semifinals.
