Falling gasoline prices stalled last week, averaging $1.84 per gallon Sunday, unchanged from the week before, according to GasBuddy’s weekly .

This compares with the national average that increased 2.7 cents last week to $2.05 per gallon.

Prices Sunday were down $1.30 per gallon than the same day a year ago and are 25.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average is down almost $1.23 per gallon from a year ago and down 15.7 cents for the month.

The cheapest gas on GasBuddy’s list was $1.67 per gallon at Fast-N-Friendly Food Mart near the intersection of East Florida Avenue and South Holly Street.

Wholesale prices are up 20 cents per gallon on average, GasBuddy senior petroleum analyst Gregg Laskoski said in a news release.

“The four-month slide in gasoline prices has indeed come to a halt. A reduction in refinery output has been matched in recent weeks by sharp increases in wholesale gasoline prices,” Laskoski said. “There’s no doubt now that the first-quarter climb is under way and is already being reflected in rising prices at the pump.”
