Funeral services for a teenage girl last week were announced Wednesday night.
Jessica Hernandez, 17, was killed early Jan. 26. Police say she was was behind the wheel of a car that had been reported stolen, and police fired because she drove the Honda toward officers.
Her family announced that the girl’s wake will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Advantage Funeral Home, 1095 Havana St., in Aurora. Following the wake, the Rosary will be prayed from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 3050 W. 76th Ave. in Westminster. The Mass will be immediately followed by the burial service at Olinger Highland Cemetery, 10201 Grant St. in Thornton.
