Fifteen Colorado bands will head to Idaho next month to join headliners TV on the Radio, Built to Spill, of Montreal, Foxygen and more at
The Colorado bands heading to Treefort include, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, YAMN, Rose Quartz, Bud Bronson & the Good Timers, The River Arkansas, Homebody, The Raven and the Writing Desk, Crystal Ghost, the Blue Rider, Zach Heckendorf, Snake Rattle Rattle Snake, the Ned Garthe Explosion, Frugal Father, Shady Elders and In the Whale.
Taking place at one main stage and nearby music venues, Treefort launched in 2012, taking inspiration from The UMS in Denver. And in attitude, its devotion to emerging local and national musicians and taste, it’s done pretty well in the last few years.
