Re: “FCC chairman picks risky path,” Feb. 5 editorial.
It is highly self-serving that the head of the Federal Communications Commission wants to give his agency more power to control the Internet. This is a classic Washington power grab and self-promotion for his agency.
What problem warrants such drastic action for a system that has worked so well for the last 20 years? Is this like trying to kill an ant with a bazooka?

How else can they justify their salaries? Whenever government gets involved in the private sector, innovation is stifled, productivity is lessened, costs increase and another government agency must be created, wasting more of the taxpayers? dollar. I do hope Wheeler and the FCC will leave the Internet alone; it is working just fine without government interference.
