COLORADO SPRINGS — A civilian killed in a car crash at the Air Force Academy on Saturday has been identified as a contractor for the school.
Charles “Chuck” Higley died in a single-vehicle rollover accident early Saturday morning on Academy Drive, according to a press release from the academy.
Higley worked with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 32 in Colorado Springs as a contract stagehand at Academy concerts for the past 30 years.
