Traffic crawls east along Interstate 70 in this 2003 file photo. (John Leyba, Denver Post file)
Skiers amaze me. They will sit for two or three hours each direction to spend $100 or more each on lift tickets to ski, and then complain that the state needs to do something with Interstate 70 to relieve congestion. I have a better idea: Stop driving in the mountain corridor. How long do you think it will take the resorts to pitch in and make the road better (think Central City Parkway)?
